Please note: The Step deposit account does not accrue interest. The savings percentage represents cash rewards managed by Step, rather than interest, and is directly funded by the platform. The rewards would be equivalent to a 5.00% APY if calculated as such. The percentage is variable and subject to change. The national average rate quoted is based on the FDIC's published national average savings rate as of May 10, 2023.

Step operates as a financial services platform, with banking services provided by Evolve Bank & Trust and the Step Visa card issued by the same institution (Member FDIC). Not all transactions are eligible for Visa's Zero Liability policy; certain commercial card and anonymous prepaid card transactions, as well as transactions not processed by Visa, are excluded. Cardholders must be diligent in safeguarding their cards and must promptly report any unauthorized use to their issuing financial institution.

The Step Visa Card is specially designed to help build positive credit history, with activity reported to the three major credit bureaus solely based on Step Visa card usage, provided the account remains in good standing. Step does not have control over users' credit scores, which may also be influenced by factors beyond the Step Visa Card, including external activity or other loan products offered by Step. Credit scores are determined by credit bureaus and consider various factors beyond the Step Visa Card.

Transfers through Step may be subjected to review by the platform or users' respective banks, leading to potential delays.

Out-of-network ATM withdrawal fees apply.

Early access to direct deposit funds depends on the timing of payment file submissions from payers. Typically, funds are available on the day the payment file is received, up to two days earlier than the scheduled payment date.

Investing and advisory services are provided by Step Advisers LLC, a SEC-Registered Investment Adviser that offers non-discretionary recommendations. DriveWealth, a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), manages and custodies investment accounts.
